
With more than three decades of experience in the field of medicine, Lewis Satloff, MD, serves as a staff anesthesiologist with McAllen Anesthesia Consultants in Edinburg, Texas. Currently licensed to practice medicine in Texas and five other states, Dr. Lewis Satloff has led a diverse career. Prior to joining McAllen Anesthesia Associates, he worked as an anesthesiologist at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Florida, a 216-bed hospital serving the greater Lee County area, from 2013 to 2016. From 2009 to 2012, he held a position at Centinela Hospital Medical Center, located in Inglewood, California, and from 1999 to 2007, he served as an anesthesiologist at Providence Encino-Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, California.
To prepare for his career in medicine, Dr. Lewis Satloff earned a doctor of medicine from the Warren Alpert School of Medicine of Brown University and a bachelor of arts at the University of Rochester. He also completed a one-year fellowship in advanced pediatric anesthesiology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and internal medicine training at Presbyterian/St Luke’s Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. In addition to being licensed in Texas, he is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
